A Tale of Trying to Fix What’s Broken

My hard drive actually did go south.   Neither System Mechanic nor SpinRite were able to deal with a read-write head that had apparently gone bad — how is still a mystery.

FTP and .htaccess

Yesterday, I wanted to put something in a .htaccess file and then ftp the file over to my site that is hosted in the UK. Only one issue, I needed to make sure that I wouldn’t override the one that I had — just needed to add to it.
